Pulling up to Bloody Acres makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. You see a run-down cabin and it automatically sends a small chill down your spine. This haunt takes over an hour to walk through and seems as if it will never end. We were skeptical at first, since it was their first night open; however, once we got into the voodoo scene, we were met by a woman with a bone chilling scream. We knew we were in for something special at that point.
One of my favorite characters we came into contact with was the infamous Michael Myers. He put his knife next to my face and made me for the first time at a haunt wonder if I was going to make it out, he then scratched it on his metal table and the screech of the knife made me feel that way even more so. The most memorable scene was the one with the chainsaws, you see one and you think it’s done but just about every corner had a new one coming at you.
The most brain challenging scene was IT, you feel as if you will never make it out of this one room because there are so many doors that could be the opening but of course each one was not, a small detail that hinted towards the remake movies.Â
My knowledge was definitely challenged at this haunt. It made our team realize you cannot judge a haunt by the first few scenes. This haunt is definitely the place to bring your whole family! Everyone in your family will have fun and be challenged by the mazes and terrors and it leaves you wanting more.
