Mortem Manor Haunt Tour Review

Haunt Seekers took to the skies, bound for Orlando's Mortem Manor Haunted Attraction, where an efficient arrival process ensured a prompt immersion into the eerie experience, strategically situated amidst Old Town's thriving hub of entertainment, boutique stores, and culinary delights. As we strolled through the park, the majestic Ferris wheel at its center set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Our walk along the picturesque brick pathway led us to Mortem Manor, where we were warmly greeted by Michael Boyd, a long-time friend and manager. He treated us to an exclusive tour of the Post Mortem merch shop, showcasing an impressive array of horror-themed treasures. Stepping into the manor's entrance, we were struck by its breathtaking beauty, illuminated by vibrant lights and enhanced by an expertly curated soundtrack that crafted an electrifying atmosphere, drawing in crowds from far and wide. As we stepped into the manor, a dignified gentleman in a top hat warmly welcomed us, drawing us into a captivating world. Within the elegantly appointed common room, a roaring fire crackled and an intriguing portrait seemed to observe our every move. Our host skillfully wove a tale of the manor's mysterious past, setting the stage for our journey of discovery. With each new room, cleverly crafted surprises awaited, testing our courage. Yet, every detail was a testament to the manor's eerie charm, leaving us enthralled and eager for more. One portion was the chapel, which was very roomy and detailed. I loved how well it was set up. The chapel stood out the most, with lighting that created a different color mood in each section, giving it a creepy vibe. Although the actors were a bit short-staffed that night, they did an outstanding job, providing scares in every room. What I loved most was that some actors were hidden, making their creepy laughs and whispers audible only when you were close enough for them to jump out. The actors effectively used the echo effect in the manor's walls and corridors. Mortem Manor earns a 5-star rating from Haunt Seekers for its amazing sets, actors, and management; great job!
